Uniform Guidance’s Cost Principles establish three main factors that must be considered when claiming reimbursement for costs incurred under federally funded programs. These factors are allowability, allocability, and reasonableness. It is vital that grant administrators understand how these factors are to be applied during the administration of their organization’s federal awards.
