Brice Bokesch is a Senior Consultant with Capital Edge Consulting, LLC, based in the company’s Pittsburgh, PA office. Brice has experience in addressing various accounting and compliance issues related to Federal government grants, and internal control assessments. Brice is skilled in the areas of Federal Acquisition Regulations (“FAR”), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (“DFARS”), Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal awards to non-Federal entities (aka. “Uniform Guidance”).

Professional Experience: Brice is experienced in working with government contractors and Federal award recipients of varying sizes, complexity, and industry focus in the areas of accounting and compliance. Brice has engaged with multiple clients to assist with incurred cost submissions (“ICS”), Indirect Rate Modeling Support, Policy and Procedure Development, Audit Support, Audit Findings Resolution, CAS Disclosure Statement Development and Revision, Business Systems Compliance, including Risk Assessment, Internal Controls Assessment, and Subrecipient Monitoring Support, and other regulatory compliance matters.

A few of Brice’s recent major efforts include:

  • Development of 20+ Incurred Cost Submissions and other Indirect Cost and Forward Pricing Rate submissions on behalf of Federal contractors to recover cost and calculate provisional rates.
  • Completion of Cost Accounting Standards Board Disclosure Statement 1 (“CASB DS-1”) on behalf of Cost Accounting Standards (“CAS”) covered company.
  • Assisted with preparation and completion of DCAA Incurred Cost Submission audit on behalf of Federal contractor.

Prior to joining Capital Edge, Brice was a senior auditor for Maher Duessel, CPAs, a member of the AICPA’s Government Audit Quality Center. While at Maher Duessel, CPAs, Brice performed audits of both not-for-profit and governmental entities, including Single Audits under both OMB Circular A-133 and Uniform Guidance, 2 CFR 200, Subpart F (Single Audit).

  • Development of Incurred Cost Submissions (ICS)
  • Indirect Cost Rate structures and Forward Pricing Rate packages
  • Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit support

Education: Brice attended Westminster College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
