– Approximately 3-5 years of experience:
         – Managing federal grants and/or federal research grants in an academic setting.

– A solid understanding of the basic principles of grant management, including the uniform guidance and agency-specific regulations.
– A proficiency in grant writing, budgeting, financial management, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
– Experience overseeing multiple grant-funded projects simultaneously, from application to closeout.
– A comprehension of federal regulations and have experience ensuring organizational compliance with grant terms and conditions.
– An understanding of cost principles, indirect cost rates, and be able to manage complex grant budgets. 
– Participated in or managed responses to grant audits.
